Port of Los Angeles enjoying record year with terminals that “have capacity” despite 3.5% jump in imports. The Port of Los Angeles, the busiest in the nation, is “more fluid” than in the past year, has whittled the backlog of ships in the harbor by nearly 90% and is ready to take on even more business, port officials said.
