National diesel average declines, for the week of September 5, reports EIA

Falling 3.1 cents, the national average came in at $5.084, following a 20.6-cent gain, for the week of August 29, to $5.115. That gain was preceded by nine straight weeks of declines, from the week of June 27 through the week of August 22, which represented a cumulative decline of 87.4 cents.
